Emphasizing the capabilities of Persian language and literature to expand Iran's relations with Asian countries, the professor of the University of the Philippines said: Persian language can play an important role in strengthening cultural and academic interactions in Asia.

The 7th edition of the International Creativity Film Festival (IIFF 2024) was held in the city of Bangalore in South India, with the participation of more than 7000 students from 50 media faculties, in three days from October 4 to 6, 2024, equivalent to 13 to 15, Mehr 1403. To implement the program supporting the delegation of media representatives and influential figures from the Philippines to Iran, "Mr. Eduardo Barrios Manzano", a renowned and veteran artist in Philippine cinema and television, as well as a political activist, visited the office of the Cultural Counselor in Manila on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 (28 Shahrivar 1403). They discussed preparations for his trip to Iran and explored areas of cooperation in exporting media products.

On Tuesday, 6/20/1403, Iran's Tourism Road Exhibition began with the speech of Dr. Shalbafian, Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Cultural Heritage, and Shri Rahul Narwekar, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra, at the St. Regis Hotel Mumbai.

On Thursday, 15th of Shahrivar 1403 (September 5, 2024), Mr. Abdolmajid Abolghasemi, the Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Manila, met with Ms. "Marian Angelica Torre," the Head of the Festivals Section of the Film Development Council of the Philippines, which operates under the Office of the President of the Philippines. During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of facilitating the participation of Iranian directors and actors in Filipino film festivals and explored potential areas of collaboration in the field of cinema.

Simultaneously with the final days of the month of Safar, a mourning ceremony commemorating the demise of the great Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and the martyrdom of two shining stars of Imamate and Wilayah, Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS) and Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (AS), was held on Sunday, September 1st, in the Cultural Center hall. A group of Iranian residents and devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt attended the event, where they recited the Ziyarat of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and listened to the speech of Hujjat al-Islam " Mustoura," a Filipino scholar from the seminary in Qom. The ceremony concluded with mourning rituals and chest beating.

The Arbaeen Hosseini mourning ceremony was held in the presence of the ambassador, the president of the Federation and the delegation of Karate girls and boys of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a group of embassy staff and resident Iranians and devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) on Saturday 3rd of Shahrivar 1403 (August 24, 2024) in the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Manila. And articipants engaged in the recitation of the Ziyarat Arbaeen, listened to the speech by Hojjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen "Mastura," a Filipino scholar from the Qom Seminary, and took part in mourning rituals and chest-beating.

On Friday, 19th of Mordad 1403 (August 9, 2024), Mr. Abdolmajid Abolghasemi, the Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Manila, along with his accompanying delegation, visited the Federation of International DroneSoccer Association (FIDA) exhibition held at the grand hall of the SM Mall.

During the visit of the honorable Deputy for Management and Resource Development and the honorable Director General for Human Resources Development to review and follow up on the issues of cultural representations in East Asia and explore avenues of cooperation with Iranian organizations and institutions located at the mission site, Mr. Hossein Pour and Mr. Shakeri met and held discussions with Mr. Yousef Esmaeil Zadeh, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Friday, 29th of Tir 1403 (July 19, 2024), at our country’s embassy in Manila.
