The Cultural Section of the Embassy of Iran in Manila holds the weekly Dua Kumayl ceremony to strengthen the national, religious, and cultural identity of Iranian residents. This spiritually uplifting gathering fosters connections with Iranian culture and religion while preserving religious traditions. After the ceremony, participants engage in sports, promoting physical and mental well-being, solidarity, and social bonds in a positive atmosphere.

In line with the implementation of another provision of the cultural exchange program between Iran and the Philippines, and with the aim of paving the way for the distribution of Iranian films in this country’s cinemas, the second Iranian Film Festival of 2025 was officially inaugurated for the first time on Saturday, March 1, 2025, corresponding to Esfand 11, 1403, at Cinema Shangri-La, Hall No. 3, in Manila.

In celebration of the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, table tennis, chess, and foosball competitions were held at the Cultural Section of the Iranian Embassy in Manila during the Ten-Day Dawn. The event aimed to strengthen national identity, unity, and social engagement among Iranians in the Philippines while commemorating the Revolution’s values.

Coinciding with the arrival of Mid-Sha'ban and the blessed birth of the Savior of humanity, Imam Mahdi (AJ), a grand celebration was held under the auspices of the Cultural Section. The event was attended by the ambassador, a group of embassy staff, Iranian residents, religious figures, and devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).

Coinciding with the 61st anniversary of diplomatic relations between Iran and the Philippines, the National Day ceremony of the Islamic Republic of Iran was held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Manila, attended by high-ranking Philippine officials, cultural figures, ambassadors and diplomats of foreign countries, and distinguished Iranians.

On the eve of the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, as part of the implementation of another provision of the cultural exchange program, a traditional Iranian music concert was held at Makati University through the efforts of the Cultural Section of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the General Directorate of Cooperation and Cultural Export Regulation of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, and in collaboration with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts of the Philippines and Makati University.

In celebration of the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, with the aim of expanding knowledge and a deeper understanding of traditional Iranian music among the students of the College of Music, and developing cultural and artistic interactions between Iran and the Philippines, the concert of the traditional music group "Hamraz" was organized by the Cultural Section of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Department of Cooperation and Cultural Export Regulation of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, and in collaboration with the College of Music at the University of the Philippines (UP).

Following the coordination efforts, on Friday, 5th of Bahman 1403 (January 24, 2025), Mr. Abolqassem, the Cultural Counselor, visited the office of the President of Makati University and had a meeting with Dr. Elixor C. Ramos, the President, and the Vice Presidents of the university regarding strengthening and expanding scientific, academic, cultural, and artistic cooperation between the two countries.

On the radiant and blessed night of the birth anniversary of the Leader of the Monotheists, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), a grand celebration was held, hosted by the Cultural Section, with the presence of the ambassador, a group of embassy staff, Iranian residents, Muslims, and devotees of the Pure and Infallible Household.
