On the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the late President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, along with a group of his devoted companions, a commemoration ceremony was held on Thursday, May 23, 2025 (1 Khordad 1404), at the Cultural Section of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Manila. The event was attended by members of the Iranian community residing in the Philippines and supporters of the Islamic Revolution.

This spiritual gathering began with the recitation of the soul-elevatingDua Kumaylby the participants. Following the prayer, Mr. Abolghasemi, the Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Philippines, extended his condolences on the occasion of the martyrdom of the late President and his companions.

In his remarks, he highlighted the tireless efforts and significant contributions of the martyred Ayatollah Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, describing him as a model of a revolutionary, sincere, and people-oriented leader. He praised President Raisi for his jihadist spirit and unwavering dedication to serving the Iranian nation and defending the ideals of the Islamic Revolution—a path for which he ultimately gave his life.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, an impactful video montage titled“Hardasan”was presented, showcasing scenes of the late Ayatollah Raisi’s commendable services and tireless efforts across various domains of public service. The presentation revived the memory of the revered martyr in the hearts of the attendees, who concluded the gathering by recitingFatihaandSalawat, renewing their commitment to the ideals of the late Imam Khomeini and the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution.
