On Sunday, Aban 28, 1402, the Philippine International Market 2023 was held at the Manila Convention Center, and His Excellency Mr. Yousef Esmaeil Zadeh, the Ambassador, and Abdolmajid Abolghasemi, the Cultural Counselor of our country, also participated in this international cultural event.
This diplomatic market provided an opportunity for the Filipino public and the international community to help support the underprivileged Filipinos while holding an international cultural event.
During this one-day charity market, a large number of resident embassies set up stalls and offered cultural, artistic and food products of their respective countries. This market consisted of two sections of cooking and selling food and the section of handicrafts and cultural products of the countries, and along with the Philippine companies, some countries such as Australia and India presented a large number of booths for rent and their products for sale.
With the plans made by the Embassy of our country and the cooperation of Cultural Center, in order to introduce the authentic and diverse Iranian-Islamic culture, the Iranian carpets and backs were displayed and sold.
The level of acceptance of Iranian dried fruit by the attendees was such that a few hours before the end of the market, all the products were sold out, which indicates the capacity of "economic diplomacy of Iranian agricultural products" at the international level.
In order to introduce our country as best as possible, in addition to presenting posters and brochures introducing Iran, a video of Iran's tourist attractions was shown to the visitors on the main screen of the market on several times, so that the audience could get to know our country better and more fully.
Among other Islamic countries, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Palestine had a good presence in this event.
Although this international event is very short in terms of time, in general, due to the maximum presence and participation of embassies and companies and certainly the visitors, it is a good opportunity to introduce handicrafts and cultural and artistic products of our country, especially traditional Iranian food. It can play a significant role in the development of diplomatic relations and the dynamics of cultural economy.
