Media Workshop 2024 Venue: Cultural Consulate of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Date: Wednesday 22nd May 2024 Time: 9:00AM – 11:30 AM

The Cultural Consulate of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has organised the fourth lifelong learning media workshop about the achievements of the Islamic Republic of  Iran, in cooperation with the Uganda Journalists Association.

The workshop, organised and held within the framework of the capacity-building plan of Ugandan media practioners and as a follow-up to the media workshops held before to achieve the following objectives:

(1) enhancing capacities of senior journalists and researchers of the policy-making arena at country level to set and implement innovative strategies and policies for strengthening the lifelong learning system;

(2) documentation of the outcomes of the lifelong learning workshop on the numerous achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran; and

(3) train journalists to better understand the media landscape and what makes news
