About us
Iran’s cultural activities in Uganda began in 1990, with the dispatch of a religious missionary, but were suspended in 2002 for certain reasons. The Cultural Representation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Uganda is now considered one of Iran’s newly established cultural missions. It was officially established and began its activities in 2012, following the acquisition of authorization from Uganda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
