The Cultural Consultation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Nigeria with the aim of developing and expanding the activities of Quranic affairs and maximizing the benefit of Quranic diplomacy in the target country, especially using the capacity of NGOs and religious institutions and organizations to achieve this goal, has made it a priority to support Quranic programs in this field this year.
Holding a Quranic program with the subject of "Teaching the Holy Quran in Amir al-Mu'minin School Abuja" is one of the programs of this consultation with the benefit of local professors and trainers and the Quranic Affairs Department of Amir al-Mu'minin Religious School in the Koja area of Abuja city, which is held with the participation of the scientific and cultural affairs of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria.
In the opening ceremony of this course, Mr. Majid Kamrani, the cultural advisor of our country, said that familiarity with the Holy Quran and trying to benefit from the Quranic teachings not only has a lot of spiritual and otherworldly blessings and good for the individual, family and society, but also brings peace and worldly happiness. He went on to say that this program is aimed at empowering the Shiites and making this large population competitive alongside their Sunni brothers in Nigeria, and expressed the hope that the children of the Shiites in Nigeria will be able to compete with their other competitors in the field of Quranic affairs, including memorizing the Holy Quran.
It is worth mentioning that this program will start from the last week of September and will continue for two months. This course is held on Saturdays and Sundays every week with the presence of 30 people in the age range of 5 to 20 years in two groups of brothers and sisters, and it is decided that at the end of the course, these children will be in three categories: Hafiz, the last part of the Holy Quran, the Hafiz, and the Hafiz, Surah Al-Fil to Surah Al-Nas, as well as Fatihah.
