Hijab and its Role in Mental Health

The Cultural Consultation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Nigeria with the aim of getting acquainted with the challenges and harms of the family in the world, as well as benefiting from the useful experiences of other Islamic societies from each other, and emphasizing on achieving a solution to overcome possible problems, as well as conveying the true message of seeing the true manifestation of Islam, especially the rich culture of Shiism, to the audience with the consensus .

 The Cultural Consultation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Nigeria with the aim of getting acquainted with the challenges and harms of the family in the world, as well as benefiting from the useful experiences of other Islamic societies from each other, and emphasizing on achieving a solution to overcome possible problems, as well as conveying the true message of seeing the true manifestation of Islam, especially the rich culture of Shiism, to the audience with the consensus of thinkers and thinkers, has organized a series of specialized meetings on women this year. , children and families.

In this regard, the second meeting of this series of meetings and dialogues was held in Nigeria with the presence of scientific and academic figures and with the special cooperation and assistance of the International Cultural Relations Department of Women and Family of the organization under the title of "Hijab and its  Role in Mental Health".  

In the opening ceremony of this meeting, Mr. Majid Kamrani, the cultural advisor of our country, while welcoming the participants of this meeting, announced that the hijab has a special place in Islam and should not be viewed as a restriction for women, but the hijab should be considered as an immunity that protects and protects the individual, the family and the society directly or indirectly. In addition, the cultural advisor of our country announced that the consensus of Iranian and Nigerian thinkers has provided a great opportunity for the development of authentic Islamic culture between the two countries of Iran and Nigeria, so that the two countries can also benefit from scientific experiences and findings. He went on to call for a purposeful increase in these consensus, especially in the field of women, children and family. 

In the continuation of this meeting, 7 great and prominent personalities of Iran and Nigeria spoke in this regard.  Dr. Fatemeh Ismail Hassan, President of the Zahra Society of Nigeria on Hijab and the Modern World, Dr. Marashi from the University of Ahvaz on  a Comparative Study of  Islamic and Secular Perspectives, Dr. Zubeida Abdulaziz on the Psychology of Hijab in Modern Society, Dr. Fatemeh Ahmadi  on Hijab, Chastity and Mental Health, as well as Dr. Maimuneh Hossein from Bayroi Kano University.How Hijab Increases Muslim Women's Mental Capacity Beyond Physical Emotions Dr. Zainab Abdel Rahman from Ahmad Baloui Zaria University spoke on countering the negative stereotypes surrounding the  hijab.
