The seventh Tehran International Virtual Book Fair will be held from May 16th to May 23rd, 2026.
The Tehran International Book Fair, long recognized as the country’s most important cultural and publishing event, will be held virtually this year under different circumstances. The event, held as the 7th Tehran Virtual Book Exhibition, will take place from May 16 to 23, 2026, bringing together readers and publishing industry professionals.
The virtual format of this year’s exhibition was adopted in response to the country’s special circumstances and restrictions arising from the imposed war. These conditions reduced the ability of many publishers and publishing industry professionals to participate in person, prompting the organizers to ensure the continuity of this important cultural event through a digital platform.
Nevertheless, the Tehran Book Exhibition continues to maintain its position as one of the region’s most important cultural events and, under the slogan “Let’s Read for Iran,” seeks to sustain the connection among readers, publishers, and the country’s cultural community, even under challenging circumstances.
