The 36th International Children and Youth Film Festival will be held in Isfahan from October 5 to 10, 2024 (Mehr 14–19, 1403). This year, the festival will take place in three sections: National, International, and Special.

In the National Section, feature films and animations compete for the Golden License Award. The short films in this section include story and animated films ranging from 3 to 20 minutes.

The International Section features foreign feature and short films produced from 2023 onward, and its rules and call for entries have been announced by the festival’s International Affairs Office for foreign applicants.

This year’s festival also includes a Special Section, featuring programs such as Children of Gaza, retrospectives of foreign works, and non-competitive screenings.
