The 10th graduation ceremony of East African International University
This year's graduation was attended by guests including Mr. Abdallah Abbasi, Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Chief Justice of Uganda, Owiny- Dolo, Ambassador Hassan Alawi who is also a member of the university, Mr. Isa Katungulu Luyimbazi, African Youth Ambassador among others.
East African International University offers online and physical lectures in four faculties such as Faculty of Business and Management, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Law and other faculties.
More than 543 students graduated in various disciplines.
The chancellor, Uganda's first female chancellor, affirms IUEA's commitment to breaking down barriers to gender equality and driving progress through academic excellence.
Amb. Dr. Amina Mohammed, President of East African International University, thanked the distinguished guests present and noted that they gathered to celebrate not only the culmination of their academic journey, but also to honor the spirit of education and the pursuit of knowledge.
He urged the students to always remember that the pursuit of knowledge does not end with graduation but is a lifelong journey.
As a former Cabinet Minister for Education and External Affairs in Kenya, he witnessed first-hand the transformative effects of education as knowledge breaks down barriers and fosters global citizenship.
