The presence of four films from Iranian cinema at the 7th Innovative International Film Festival, Bangalore India IIFF 2024

The 7th edition of the International Creativity Film Festival (IIFF 2024) was held in the city of Bangalore in South India, with the participation of more than 7000 students from 50 media faculties, in three days from October 4 to 6, 2024, equivalent to 13 to 15, Mehr 1403. The chief guest of the festival was Mr. Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB), Government of India.

IIFF 2024

The 7th edition of the International Creativity Film Festival (IIFF 2024) was held in the city of Bangalore in South India, with the participation of more than 7000 students from 50 media faculties, in three days from October 4 to 6, 2024, equivalent to 13 to 15, Mehr 1403. The chief guest of the festival was Mr. Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB), Government of India.

The festival witnessed exceptional attendance of filmmakers from the states of Southern India – Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra, Telangana & Kerala, Associations & Federations Presidents & policymakers, Country Ambassadors, Consulate Generals, Cultural Directors, filmmakers - writers & Directors, Producers, Cinematographers, cinema critics & students.

In this Edition, Mr. Ganesh Teja Saja, Ms. Melashree, Mr. Rocklin and others won the prestigious Dada Sahib Phalke Award and MSK Trust Award.

The award for the best film in Malayalam went to "Attam", in Tamil to "Garudan", in Kannada to "Kateera" and in Telugu to "Committee Kurrollu". The Versatile Actor Award was collected by the famous actor Mr. Murli Sharma who has worked in films in all 4 languages.

The short film competition that was held in this festival received more than 400 works from filmmakers and enthusiastic students, some of whom won prizes.

The Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Media and Cyberspace Cooperation, screened four films in the non-competitive section of the festival, "In the Arms of Tree", "Beyro", "Sima's Unfinished Narration" and "Lepto" animation, and according to the festival directors, these films aroused the admiration of the audience. and according to the festival directors, these films were praised by the audience.
