International Seminar on "Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A) and Mother Day” by Iran Culture House New Delhi and Kaniz-e-Zahra on 14 January  2023

On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra(S.A) and Women's Day, a seminar on "Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (S.A) the Role model for the enrichment of family values and society” was held with the presence of nearly 500 Indian, Afghani and Iranian Muslim women, was held at          Culture House of I.R.Iran, New Delhi. In this seminar, Ms. Siddigha Elahi, the wife of the Hon’ble Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India, Dr. Mohammad Ali Rabbani, Cultural Counselor of I.R.Iran in New Delhi, Professor Rohi Fatemeh from the Department of Education of Jamia Millia Islamia University, Prof. Khurshid Fatemeh Hosseini from Aligarh Muslim University, Dr. Zahra Zaidi from the Jamia Hamdard, Dr. Parveen Zaidi from the Kaneez Zahra Association, Dr. Firdous Jahan, other Muslim women and social activists were present.

At the opening of this seminar, DR.Rabbani, gave welcome address and said that the birth of Hazrat Fatima (PBUH) as one of the most important events in the history of Islam. Women at the time of the rise of Islam due to ignorance they buried girls alive and which was considered a source of shame.

He welcome the participates and audiences by wishing them.

In seminar, Professor Ruhi Fatemeh from the Department of Education of Jamia Millia University, Professor Khursheed Fatemeh Hosseini from Aligarh Muslim University, Dr. Zahra Zaidi from Hamdard University, Mrs. Dr. Parveen Zaidi from the Kanneze Zahra Association, Dr. Ferdous Jahan, among other women Muslims and social activists, also spoke about the position of women in Islam and the character models and traditions of Hazrat Fatima Zahra(S.A).

A Group of children also recited couplets in the praise of Hzt Fatema which was followed by an Exhibition on Iranian woman.
