The above program has been proposed by the  Iran Cultural Center, especially for the benefit of college-level students, graduate and undergraduate students of universities, university teachers, high school teachers, and others interested in the history of Iran and Sri Lanka.  

I wish to mention especially that on 11/11/2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the National Library there will be a panel discussion on the reason why Iranian History is important for Sri Lankan studies. The panelists,  Professors, Galkande Dammananda, Raj Somadeva, Nirmal Ranjith Dewasiri, and Nadeesha Sharmalee Gunawardena are experts on the subject.
