The Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe was today (4 March 2024) at the Harare Polytechnic in Harare where he was presented with an opportunity to meet and address all the students in the media school of journalism as part of a cultural exchange programme between the polytechnic and the Cultural Centre of the Embassy of Iran.

For the upcoming Nowruz vacations, Isfahan seeks to put the spotlight on its lesser-known destinations for travelers visiting the historical city situated in the heart of the Iranian plateau.

On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, a special office dedicated to tourism research was officially launched in Tehran. The office is intended to help provide quick and easy access, share, and utilize scientific resources, including projects, reports, articles, books, and university theses on tourism, in collaboration with a bureau for tourism information technology.

Gonarezhou, named “The Place of Elephants," is Zimbabwe’s second-largest national park and one of its most famed wilderness areas. Stretching over 5,053 square kilometres, some 1.25 million acres, from the Save River in the north to the Mwenezi River to the south, the Park is home to some of the most spectacular landscapes in southern Africa – including the iconic Chilojo Cliffs.

The Cultural Centre of the Embassy of Iran in Zimbabwe has handed over prizes to the winners of an essay writing competition held in honour of Martyr General Qassem Soleimani, who was assassinated by the evil American regime some three years ago in Baghdad, Iraq. The competition, which attracted many top writers in Zimbabwe, was won by Gibson Nyikadzino, a top journalist from the Herald, Zimbabwe’s top state newspaper.

The Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe will, from March 4th to March 8th, 2024, partner with the Zimbabwe Tertiary Students Association (ZTSA) in hosting a student cohort that will interrogate the history, politics, religion, and culture of the countries in the Middle East.
