Celebrating the 45th Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution

Iran celebrates the 45th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution on February 11, 2024. On that day (11th February), the last Pahlavi ruler Mohammad Reza Shah’s reign collapsed and a new Islamic government, led by the Imam Ruhollah Khomeini, officially took over the Iranian State.

CULTURAL CENTRE EXHIBITS ON NATIONAL DAY COMMEMORATIONS

The Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe yesterday (8 February) fully participated in festivities marking the 45th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran by mounting a cultural exhibition at the venue where Iran’s National Day was being celebrated.

CULTURAL CENTRE HOSTS IRANIAN FILM FESTIVAL, 2024

The Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe has, for the first time in more than a decade, hosted the much-celebrated and internationally famed Iranian film festival in Harare.

On February 4th, 32 nations, including Zimbabwe, shall be eligible to waive their visa requirements for Iran.

The visa-waiver program was reportedly approved for India, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Indonesia, Brunei, Japan, Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brazil, Peru, Cuba, Mexico, Bolivia, Venezuela, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Belarus, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Mauritania, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, and the Seychelles.
