Reawakening of an Anti-West Global Movement
At US campuses, multiple arrests of university students, peacefully demonstrating in solidarity with the Palestinians facing extermination at the hands of the Israeli government, show that the agenda to having full liberties is intolerable in the West. The manner in which the corporate-state in the US has become intolerant of dissenting views mirrors the fact that the capitalist agenda is now in decay.

One has to be cautious when dealing with a person referred to and described as a liberal. For instance, a liberal is someone who opposes every war except a current war and also supports all civil rights movements, except the one that is going on right now.
This rightly fits to describe the current Western liberal establishment. They pretend to be concerned about the ongoing extermination of Palestinians in Gaza, but still do things that maintain the status quo, like sending weapons to Israel.
The liberal mindset has people who condemn Palestinians for fighting against their elimination. Or people who scold Palestinians for resisting their extermination. That while they condemn Hamas, they do not want to admit that the history of Palestinian resistance did not start on October 7.
Because of such intolerance, they consider anyone who criticises their ideology as a “Russian troll” or “Chinese spy”.
They, therefore, are the most dangerous entity in the collective West, which is, North America and Western Europe. This establishment is concerned only about optics. They want to project the West as democratic, as torch bearers of the right to protest, the right to assemble and the right to free expression. However, this is deceit!

Besides the use of police brutality against blacks during the Civil Rights movement in the 1960s, a little over 10 years ago it was the Occupy Wall Street movement that peacefully protested Western capitalism that was violently suppressed by US police.
From 2018, French police have systematically responded with brutality against the Yellow Vests movement that was against capitalism. The protests were violently suppressed and the right to demonstrate at one point being suspended.
A systematic trend and methodical pattern has been employed by Western governments in the schematics of their growing intolerance to peaceful protests, dissenting voices and campaigns against socio-economic and political capitalist entrenchments.
The violent suppression of peaceful protests in the West must not be dismissed as paranoid fantasy, but be regarded as a totally integrated corporate-state repression of dissent. It has become clear in the last five months that, little by little, the rights of Westerners to protest, assemble and speaking out are being taken away.
In the US, Germany, France and Britain, alternative voices are being brutally silenced and systematically vanquished. The coordination to silence these voices has involved state security entities, corporate institutions and interest groups.
The US corporate state is now targeting students who are leading a global awakening and reawakening, resulting from the Palestinian genocide being perpetrated by the Israeli government, to which the US, Britain, Germany and France are complicit.
There is a reason imperial core countries are actively trying to criminalise student protests at university campuses in the US, France and Britain. They have a vested interest in things remaining the same.
They want people to enjoy negative peace, which is the absence of tension, opposed to positive peace, which is the presence of justice.
A reawakening world is now coming against a background in which Western mainstream media is restricting information flows, especially in targeting the older audiences.
Regarding the situation in Gaza, Western liberals know that older people rely on traditional media, where the dominant line by the liberal establishment is the one that is always on the teleprompter of the Israeli government.
Because of that, the awakening university students in the West have not been given attention in Western mainstream media narratives. They have, however, resorted to social media and alternative media, where they are seeing the Palestinian genocide as live streamed.
The young are seeing the reality that the mainstream media is protecting so that older audiences do not access. Also, latest opinion polls against the Biden administration indicate that his actions are with the minority.
The global world, in its awakening, is now conscious that the liberals are keen on opposing any attempts at genuine emancipation and freedom.

While the students’ arrests are indicative that the academic situation in Britain, France, Germany and the US is becoming more appalling, it is redeeming to know that students are being mindful that supporting people facing a genocide does not translate to being anti-Semitic. It means the people do not want their countries to be complicit in the genocide.
Also, criticising a genocidal and apartheid Israeli regime is not anti-Semitism. It is through such genocidal acts that hundreds of thousands of Jewish people are also rising and telling their Israeli leaders that “you do not represent us”.
The Western liberal position on Palestine has proven that it is the last nail on the coffin for liberal legitimacy. At one point, the decent world should come to the conclusion that liberals are not available to serve anyone’s interests. They are tricking people to show as if they care.
The Palestinian people have tried peaceful protests for years, they have appealed to international bodies and they are well within their means to resist their executioners by every way possible. They have shown that, against the West, no one should expect to get freedom peacefully.
Students from campuses at Western universities are resisting that the liberal establishment should determine the time when people should get freedom.
