Dr. Mohammad Reza Bahmani, Deputy to the president of the  Islamic Cultural Relation Organization, Iran on Monday 30/5/2022, exchanged views with Ms. Jaya Jaitly, former Member of Parliament and President of the Handicrafts Association of India & Dastkari haat , Mr. Muzaffar Ali, renowned film director and President Rumi Foundation and other artistic figures from the field of handicrafts, carpets, miniatures, calligraphy, metal handicrafts, woodcarving from Delhi and some other cities of India. Artists have expressed Iran and India should take advantage of the glorious past and existing potentialities for a brighter future especially in the field of arts and crafts..

At the start of the program Dr. Rabbani welcome Mr. Mozaffar Ali, Ms. Jaya Jaitley and  the Artists present there and briefed about Indo- Iran historical & cultural ties throughout centuries in the field of Art & Culture.

Dr. Mohammad Reza Bahmani, has expressed thanks to the artists & their role in spreading the universal message of peace & brotherhood. He introduced a social media platform named SABA ba to provide the possibilities of introducing and cooperating with Iranian and other artists.

Mr. Mozaffar Ali called the philosophical and mystical thoughts and ideas of great Persian poets of Maulana and Amir Khosrow Dehlavi as common foundations for understanding and establishing cooperation between the two nations of Iran and India. Today we can focus on the continuation and strengthening of cooperation by using the common spiritual and cultural foundations of the two nations into the field of Cinema & Art.
