The celebrations of Nowruz and the beginning of the year 1403 was held in Iran Culture House - New Delhi in the presence of Ambassadors of Nowruz celebrating countries and a group of Iranian and Indian guests & dignitaries.

In this event, after the Cultural Counselor of I.R.Iran Dr. Faridoddin FaridAsr welcome speech, Dr. Iraj Elahi, the Ambassador of I. R. Iran to India, while congratulating the arrival of the new year and the holy month of Ramadan, referred to the position of Nowruz as a common heritage of Iran and the countries of the Nowruz region and said the message of this ancient tradition is a message of peace and friendship for the world.

The Ambassador of Tajikistan in Delhi, the representative of the Kazakhstan Embassy, the representative of the ParZor Foundation of India, and the head of the Asian Film and Television Academy of India were among the other speakers of this event.

Simultaneously an exhibition of handicrafts and traditional foods of Nowruz countries was also held, which was welcomed by the guests and the participants.
