Cultural Counselor of I.R.Iran in New Delhi on January 8, 2024; addressed a press conference with a group of Indian print and digital media, where he spoke about terrorist incident of Kerman and the insult to Iranian security border guards in the Bollywood movie "Donki" and said, Iran is resisting on several points. While the arrogant and western media is doing its best to defame Iran as one of the destructive elements of the Middle East region and a supporter of terrorism, but the pure blood of martyrs such as martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani and the innocent martyrs of Gulzar, the martyrs of Kerman, show the real fact that Iran is against terrorism and is with the victim of terrorism.

Dr, Faridasr added: that Israel is mercilessly killing women, children and innocent people of Palestine, and the arrogant Western media instead of condemning these crimes, introduces Hamas as a terrorist group along with ISIS. On the other hand, Iran is fighting against three currents: global arrogance led by the United States, the usurpation of Muslim rights by the Zionist regime and terrorist groups in the region. Although Iran is not involved in this war, it has declared its support for the Palestinian people. Well, now it becomes clear which regimes and ISIS is serving and where Iran and Hamas stand. In response to a question about the role of ISIS and Israel in this attack, Faridasr said: As some experts in the region have said, today ISIS alone does not have the power to organize such operations and they have been hired by some others. God willing, the investigation of the arrested will clarify the dimensions of the story.

The Cultural Counsellor pointed out the cultural and intellectual aspects of this incident and said: It is true that martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani was a very elite, courageous and brave general, but where in the world do you know such a phenomenon that for a military figure, four years in Iran and different parts of the world, including this very India, the people hold a commemorative assembly and gather at his grave and pay their respects. It is clear Haj Qasim is not just because of his bravery and military service rather a brave warrior in Iranian culture. If you read the characteristics of warriors and young men in the myths and history of Iranian culture, you will realize that the people of Iran love to respect their warriors and young men. The legendary warrior of Iran, Rostam is respected as an Iranian border guard from Sistan for this reason, and Haj Qasim was also the Rostam of today's Iranian people.

In the continuation of the press conference, Dr. Faridasr mentioned the issue of insulting Iranian border guards in a Bollywood movie and said: recently, a movie called "Donki" was produced in the Indian Bollywood, which showed a very wrong and upside down image of Iran's border guards which is really very  unfortunate and without any logic. undoubtedly condemned a film is made against our military in Indian cinema, which is a pity.

I condemned the leading actor of the film, the director, producer and screenwriter of this film and I invite them to travel to Iran and observe the realities of Iran. . In response to a question about this, he said: Of course, we believe in the freedom and individuality of artists in Indian cinema and we know that cinema is not dependent on the government and this film is not the position of the Indian government, but the freedom of the artist should not lead to insulting other nations. However, we are not in favor of censorship and restrictions for this film. We only expressed our anguish and we hope that these mistakes will not happen again.

In response to a journalist's question about the terrorist explosion in Kerman, Farida Asr said: "Given that this is the biggest terrorist incident in Iran in the last 40 years the security officials could not be held accountable", he said.

It should be mentioned that before the press conference, the journalists paid their respects to the martyrs of the terrorist incident in Kerman by signing the memorial book at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, New Delhi.
