Mutual understanding and respect for all cultures are essential preconditions for social cohesion, reconciliation between peoples and peace among nations.

Culture should be considered as a set of distinct emotional, intellectual, material and spiritual characteristics of a society or a social group. In addition to art and literature, culture includes the way of life, the way of living together and our beliefs. Cultures have evolved in different ways over time and in different places. This diversity is rooted in the unity and multiplicity of identities of groups and human societies. As a resource for exchange, innovation and creativity, cultural diversity is as beneficial to humanity as biodiversity is to nature. Thus, cultural diversity is a common human heritage and must be affirmed for the benefit of present and future generations.

Cultural heritage and creativity; It is rooted in cultural traditions and flourishes in contact with other cultures. That is why it is so important to preserve all forms of heritage, to spread it and pass it on to future generations as a record of human experience and a means of expressing one's wishes, because it helps to promote creativity in all its diversity and stimulates pure dialogue. It is intimate between cultures.

Iran is an ancient country that has experienced cultural diversity since ancient times; in a way that it can be considered a diverse cultural community. Cultural diversity in Iran, unlike some diverse societies, has not caused political disunity and inter-ethnic conflict throughout history, but these groups have lived peacefully. Even in spite of some ethnic changes in some periods of Iran's history, these events have not been inter-ethnic strife, but measures aimed at xenophobia, preservation of the land, confrontation with tyranny and incompetence of the ruling class.

The peaceful coexistence of Iranian ethnic groups is rooted in the semantic system and common belief of all Iranians in being Iranian, which has been influenced by the two origins of their common history and the cohesive religion of Islam. These two elements led Iranians to define their identity system in such a way that not only diverse ethnic groups coexist with each other, but so far their ethnic identities have not been in conflict with their national identity.
