The Festival of Libraries was inaugurated by Mrs. Draupadi Mormo, the President of India on 5 August 2023, in the presence of several august personalities and which was also attended by Dr. Iraj Elahi the Hon’ble Ambassador of I.R.Iran to India, Dr. Fariduddin Faridasr, the Cultural Counsellor of Iran, Kahraman Soleimani, the Director of the Persian Language Research Center, and Shahab Khaje Piri, the Director of the Noor International Microfilm Center, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

We are pleased to announce the 31st I.R.Iran ʼs World Book Award will be held in February 2024. Books to be considered can be in any language while need to be on either Islamic studies or Iranian studies.
