500 Iranian university graduates announce combat readiness against US, Israel in letter to top general

At least 500 graduates of Tehran’s Amirkabir University of Technology have declared their readiness to fight against the United States and the Israeli regime in a letter to Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi.

The graduates, representing 30 different academic disciplines with diverse specializations, pledged to contribute over 17,000 person-hours per month for the war effort against the US and Israel.

In an unprovoked act of aggression on June 13, Israel targeted Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists who had previously been placed on sanctions lists based on IAEA reports, as well as civilians.

After more than a week into the war, the US decided to make its collaboration with the Israeli regime official, with direct intervention in the war that the Israeli regime has been losing.

As the Iranian armed forces pounded Israel and its military and industrial infrastructure, the embattled regime was forced to unilaterally cease its aggression against Iran on June 24.

Referring to the Israelis’ unilateral ceasefire, the letter says it “marks a new phase in their comprehensive imposed war - an attempt to divert Iran's national path, while providing both fronts an opportunity to reorganize their ranks across political, economic, social, security, and military domains."

Underscoring that today's war demands a new deployment of national forces, requiring the opening of vast new arenas for the youth of Islamic Iran, the letter adds “the historic moment has arrived – the time for determined young warriors, long trained across multiple domains, to enter this battlefield they've prepared for over years.”

According to the letter, the graduates have allocated considerable monthly resources to wartime priorities, addressing the nation's general and specialized needs.

“In this regard, specific initiatives have been outlined and are being pursued, while human resource capacities and related activities continue to expand."

They requested Major General Mousavi and other relevant officials to develop the necessary operational and structural measures within the armed forces to effectively facilitate this path.
