Safi Abad Palace in Iran, Mazandaran
Safiabad Palace is located in Behshahr city of Mazandaran province. This palace was built by order of Shah Abbas (1571-1629 AD) and was developed during the reign of Shah Safi.
Safiabad Palace, which is located at the top of the heights leading to the plain, is built in the middle of a beautiful garden in the form of a square building on two floors. The entrance to the palace is located on the north side, which provides access to the first floor of the palace by crossing five steps. The first floor has several rooms that can be accessed through the hallway and porch. The second floor also has corridors and beautiful rooms. The inner walls of the palace have various paintings, of which little remains today.
