Iran Cultural Center organized a three-day Iranian Film Festival from 2024-02-06 to 2024-02-08 in collaboration with the University of the Visual and Performing Arts. The opening ceremony was attended by the teachers, students, and other officials of the university and the public. The following were present as special guests and speakers:

1. -   H.E. Dr. Alireza Delkhosh - The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran  - Sri Lanka
2. -   Dr. Somaratne Dissanayake - Sri Lankan film director, screenwriter and producer
3. -   Ms. Aruni Wijewardane, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka
4. -   Dr. Prof. Rohan Nethsinghe - VC of the university
