Message of Condolence and Solidarity with the People of Sri Lanka
The Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran expresses its deepest condolences and sympathy to the people of Sri Lanka following the recent devastating floods that resulted in loss of life and extensive damage.
To the Honorable People and the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri LankaWith profound sorrow, we have been witnessing the devastating floods in your friendly nation and the tragic loss of lives and injuries suffered by many of its esteemed citizens.The Cultural Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the injured, and all those affected. We stand in solidarity with the noble people of Sri Lanka during these difficult and painful days and express our readiness to provide any possible support and assistance.We pray to the Almighty for mercy and forgiveness for the departed souls, and for patience, healing, and relief for the injured and the survivors.
