A three-day exhibition of calligraphy and artistic lettering entitled "One Must Rise" was held from 29 June to 1 July 2026 (corresponding to 8–10 Tir 1405) at the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sri Lanka, featuring and showcasing the works of Sri Lankan calligraphy artist Amer Faisal. The exhibition adopted an artistic approach to portraying the concepts of resistance, dignity, faith, and opposition to arrogance, themes emphasized by the late Leader of the Ummah, Ayatollah Khamenei.
The exhibition presented selected quotations and statements of the late leader through contemporary calligraphic techniques and innovative artistic compositions. Alongside these works, a collection of Qur'anic calligraphy pieces and other distinguished artworks by Amer Faisal were also displayed.

The use of calligraphic art as a medium for reinterpreting spiritual and ethical values enabled the cultural and humanitarian messages of the exhibition to transcend linguistic boundaries and resonate with Sri Lankan audiences. The presence of visitors, artists, and cultural activists, together with the discussions generated around the artworks, provided a valuable opportunity to introduce the ideas of the late leader as well as various aspects of Iranian-Islamic culture and thought.
The exhibition received considerable media attention in Sri Lanka. The Piri Television Network produced and broadcast a special report introducing the objectives and content of the event. Extensive circulation of news reports and photographs of the exhibition on social media platforms further expanded its audience and contributed to the dissemination of its cultural message.
As a result, the exhibition strengthened its position as an influential cultural initiative within the framework of the cultural activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sri Lanka.
