CULTURAL CENTRE PUBLISHES FIRST IRANIAN HISTORY BOOK IN ZIMBABWE
HARARE: 7May 2025 The Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe continues to scale literary milestones with the publication of the first book on Iranian history, which is also the third in the series of books that the Cultural Centre has so far published since 2022.

The book, titled Iranian History at a Glance, written by Dr. Reza Shabani and translated by Dr. Mahmood Farrokhpey, was jointly published in Zimbabwe by Phoenix Publishing Company, based in Harare.
The book explores and reviews the historical events of the pre and post Islamic Revolution era.
It will be distributed freely to all the country’s universities, national libraries and government institutions. The other books that were published by the Cultural Centre are: The Islamic Revolution: Foundations and Characteristics, jointly published with Weaver Press in 2023 and Sisters Across Boarders, jointly published by the Women’s Writers Support Network – Africa in 2024.
