The Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe, Mr Hamid Bakhtiyar met Ms Victoria Ruzvidzo, the editor of Zimbabwe’s top Sunday and oldest newspaper, the Sunday Mail, at the Cultural Centre offices in Harare.

Mr Bakhtiyar and Ms Ruzvidzo had a very cordial meeting in which they discussed ways in which they could work together in broadening the level of cooperation between the Embassy of Iran and the newspaper through the publication of cultural information on Iran as well as on the activities of the Cultural Centre of the Embassy of Iran.

Mr Bakhtiyar said the Cultural Centre was open to facilitate more cooperation between the state media in Zimbabwe and the official media in Iran as a way of enhancing the exchange of cultural information between the two friendly countries.
