CULTURAL COUNSELOR OFFICIATES AT COURSE CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION CEREMONY

22 November 2024 The Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe has this Friday (22 November 2024), presented certificates to course participants who successfully passed the Islamic Training Course that was held in Harare in September 2024.

The Islamic training course, organized by the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe in collaboration with the Social Influences Organization of Zimbabwe was conducted by an academic and theologian, Dr. Hossein Latifi from the International Institute of Islamic Studies, based in the holy city of Qom.

Speaking before presenting the certificates to the participants, the Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe, Mr Hamid Bakhtiyar said the course enabled the Cultural Centre and the course participants to establish a new relationship that will certainly continue into the distant future.

In response, the course beneficiaries noted that their participation in the course enabled them to derive more religious information on Islam as one of the world’s largest religion.

They expressed hope that the newly established mutual relationship and friendship will be further enhanced through increased cultural exchange programmes between the two sister countries.

The course which was attended by 70 participants, had more women participants than men, an indication of increased interest in religious tolerance for peaceful coexistence.
