SOLIDARITY MESSAGE FOR THE SUFFERING PALESTINIAN

MESSAGE BY SHEIKH ISHMAIL A. DUWA,
President of Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs in Zimbabwe (SCIAZ)

The Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs in Zimbabwe,
under the leadership of Sheikh Ishmail A. Duwa, strongly condemns the
ongoing massacre of innocent Palestinians by the Israeli regime. We stand in
solidarity with the Palestinian people during this critical time and express our
deepest concerns over the escalating violence and loss of innocent lives.
The recent events in Palestine have caused immense suffering and grief for
the Palestinian population. The indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas,
including homes, schools, and hospitals, are not only a violation of
international law but also a grave violation of human rights. The loss of
innocent lives, including women, children, and the elderly, is deeply
distressing and unacceptable.
As Muslims, we are bound by our faith to speak out against oppression and
injustice. The teachings of Islam emphasize the sanctity of human life and the
importance of upholding justice and equality. We call upon the international
community to take immediate action to put an end to the violence and hold
the Israeli regime accountable for their actions.
The Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs in Zimbabwe urges the United Nations
and other international organizations to intervene and ensure the protection
of the Palestinian people. We demand a just and lasting solution to the
Palestinian-Israeli conflict, based on the principles of international law,
relevant UN resolutions, and the rights of the Palestinian people to selfdetermination
and the establishment of an independent state.
We also urge the government of Zimbabwe, as well as governments across the
world, to use their diplomatic influence to condemn the Israeli regime's
aggression and call for an immediate cessation of hostilities. It is crucial to
exert diplomatic pressure on Israel to respect the rights of the Palestinian
people and to engage in meaningful dialogue to achieve a peaceful resolution.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved
ones in this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Palestinian
people, and we stand in solidarity with them during these challenging times.
We call upon all people of conscience to raise their voices and support the
Palestinian cause in the pursuit of justice, peace, and freedom.
May Allah bring an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people and grant
them strength and patience. We pray for a just and lasting peace in Palestine.
