The Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of Iran Nairobi Dr. Ali Pourmarjan today 14th April 2025 paid a Courtesy call to the Chairperson of National Gender Equality Commission of Kenya Hon. Rehema Jaldesa.
They held a candid breakfast meeting to discuss collaborative efforts focused on advancing education and empowering women across Kenya.
The meeting, led by Chairperson Hon. Rehema Jaldesa, brought together Commissioners and members of the Secretariat.
Dr. Pourmarjan, a passionate advocate for education, expressed the Embassy's commitment to offering scholarships for vulnerable students, aiming to provide them with better opportunities for a brighter future.
“Education is the gateway to opportunity. Through scholarships and structured training, we can uplift communities and create sustainable change,” Dr. Pourmarjan remarked.
The discussion also focused on integrating capacity-building forums that would equip women and marginalized groups with essential skills and knowledge, aligning with broader goals of empowerment and inclusion.
