Opening of the new Persian Secondary and Higher Education Course in Nigeria
Cultural Consultation and Representation of Benbad Saadi in Nigeria with the aim of developing and expanding Persian language and literature in the international field, especially in West Africa and Nigeria, has started to hold Persian language courses in this country. With the help of God in this regard, the second high school and the first higher Persian language course in the state of Niger in this country began.
This course is held in this state due to the request of a large number of Shiites and those interested in learning Persian language from this region. The course takes place in the city of Solija in Niger, the third largest city in the state and within 80 kilometers of the capital. This course is held in coordination with the center of Quran and Hadith teaching in Solija.
Mr. Majid Kamrani, cultural advisor and representative of the Saadi Foundation in Nigeria, said in the opening ceremony of this course, that learning Persian language means familiarizing you with a nation whose culture is poetry and literature. Basically, any language, especially the Persian language, introduces you to a new world and the Persian language because of its antiquity speaks a long history. Persian students are trusted representatives of Iran and Nigeria and can act as ambassadors of culture and literature of both countries.
At the same time as this program, the closing ceremony of the second preparatory and the first high school course of teaching Persian language was also held in this center and from the first to the third in both courses was appreciated and the learners who had succeeded in this course were also presented a certificate of attendance.
It is worth noting that 32 people in secondary school and 28 in the introductory course in this term were awarded certificates.
