Panel discussion on the evolution of animation films and their lasting appeal for young people and adults with the presence of the famous animation director of our country at the Mumbai International Film Festival.
Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) saw numerous panel discussions, workshops and film announcements. One of the round tables was organized around the evolution of animated films and their enduring appeal for young and old. This meeting, which was held on 29/3/1403 at the NFDC center, consisted of famous filmmaker Ketan Mehta, actor and producer Jacky Bagnani, Emmy Award-nominated filmmaker Vaibhav Kumareshwar and Iranian filmmaker Mohammad Khairandish, who were key speakers in this program.

With the efforts of the Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai and the cooperation of the General Directorate of Media and Cyberspace of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communications, Mohammad Khairandish, a prominent Iranian animation director, attended the Mumbai International Film Festival.

At the beginning of the program, after the president of the festival commended the main speakers, a three-minute clip of the works produced by Mohammad Khairandish, the director of the Dolphin Boy animation, was played, which drew praise from the speakers and the audience for the high quality of the works.
Mohammad Khairandish talked about his wish to broadcast his animations all over the world. He said that the content of our animations is derived from Iranian culture but in an international language that foreign audiences can communicate well with.
In the continuation of this program, Mohammad Khairandish participated in a B2B meeting with Jackie Bagnani and team, a famous Indian actor and producer in bollywood. Mohammad Khair Andish, the director of the Dolphin Boy animation, Mohammad Reza Fazel, the head of the Culture House of Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, was also present in this meeting, and Mr. Mohammad Hamdani, the producer of this animation, attend through virtual connected and talked about future collaborations and co production or the bought dialogue works.
The previous day, Mohammad Khairandish, while attending the exhibition section, had a conversation with some of the producers and makers of famous Indian animation.
It should be remembered that last year's Dolphin Boy was a finalist at the Shanghai Festival and was nominated for the best animated film. Besides winning first place at the Ahmedabad Children's and Adolescent Festival in India, it was screened in various countries such as Russia, Turkey and China. Also, Mohammad Khairandish is the writer, director and character designer of the animated feature film Son of the Dolphin, the animation of Thunder, the last Iranian cheetah, and the character designer of more than 1000 characters.
