41st International Quran Competition to be Held in Iran
The 41st International Holy Quran Competition is set to take place in January 2025 in the holy city of Mashhad Iran. This event aims to promote Quranic teachings and foster unity among Muslims worldwide.
Adult participants aged 18-40 from various countries are invited to showcase their skills in Qur'an recitation and memorization. The competition features separate divisions for men and women, adhering to Sharia standards. Aspiring contestants will undergo a selection process, including video submissions and online examinations, before the final rounds in Mashhad.
To ensure broad participation, the organizers will cover visa costs, provide round-trip tickets, and arrange accommodation for contestants during the competition in Iran. Eligibility rules exclude previous first-place winners and recent second or third-place winners to encourage new talent.
Interested individuals should submit applications through their country's Iranian political and cultural representatives by October 26, 2024.
