Iranian short movie named Gallu, directed by Kasra Tirsahar, succeeded in grasping best film award at the Blackboard International Film Festival in India.

Ashkan Shariat is the screenwriter of the short film, which is illustrating a story about a villager, who finds a piece of meat and he finds out that the meat has a weird taste. The villager tries to find more meat of this kind crazily and the attempt leads to a set of catastrophic events.
Iranian stars Ramin Yahyazadeh and Donya Nasr play two main roles of Esshagh and Sareh in the movie.
The Blackboard International Film Festival was held from December 31, 2021 to January 2, 2022 in India.
Gallu is scheduled to shine also at the Cannes World Film Festival in France, which is going to be held from January 16 to 22.
Kasra Tirsahar, an Iranian film-maker, producer and composer, studied at the IRIB University in Tehran.
His first movie was named “Room No. 13”, which brought him three awards and nominations for three other awards.
Tirsahar has been among the arbitration teams of two international festivals. Gallu is his second short film.
Gallu was followed by three other short films, including “Aicha’s dress” directed by Mohamed Saied, “L’acte Ultime” directed by Bernard Assako, and “Nadie” Directed by Ana Beyron.
