Inauguration of the Exhibition of Holy Quran at Salar jung Museum
The exhibition was organized by Noor International Microfilm Center Iran, Delhi and Salarjung Museum in collaboration with Culture House Embassy of I.R.Iran New Delhi, Maulana Azad National Urdu University and Adabat Adabiyat Urdu, Jamia Nizamia.
The workshop was inaugurated at 5pm by Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali Telangana Home Minister, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan Managing Director of The Siasat Daily, and the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Mehdi Shahrokhi in the presence of Dr. Mohd Ali Rabbani Cultural Counsellor Embassy of I.R.Iran, New Delhi. Dr. Rabbani spoke about the potentialities of Islamic Art between India & Iran and further added that Islamic art language not does belong to one nation but every body can understand it irrespective of caste, creed, color, religion and language.
This Quranic cultural and artistic festival taking place today in the holy month of Ramadan and Quran is really appreciable which includes various and extensive fields and potentialities. One of these potentiatialites is the field of Art.
In view of ten centuries of close cultural interactions between Iran and India in the Islamic period, the Qur'an and Qur'anic teachings are part of the common spiritual, religious, cultural and historical heritage of both nations, while, some significant part of the common historical, religious and cultural heritage of Iran and India is related to the Holy Qur'an.
Today, exhibition, which has been organized by International Microfilm Centre in collaboration with Maulan Azad national open University, Culture House Embassy of I.R.Iran new Delhi, Siasat Urdu Daily, Urdu Library, Salar Jung Museum and Jamia Nizamia Hyderabad, we are witnessing cultural, artistic and historical exchange of Iran and India in the form of Quranic works. The calligraphy and illumination are also present and this program can be another joint experience in the direction of cooperation and understanding and empathy between the two great nations i.e. Iran and India.
Workshop started on April 26, 2022 at Mir Abbas Yar Jung Hall, Western Gallery, Salarjung Museum.
