An International Conference on *Sheikh Hazin Lahiji* on December 7, 2023, was organized in K. N. Uduppa auditorium, IMC, BHU, by Iran Culture House New Delhi with the collaboration of the Department of Persian, Banaras Hindu University and Sadi Foundation Tehran.

The Conference was attended by noted scholars of Persian Language and Literature, dignitaries, delegates of Iran i.e. Honorable Mr. Iraj Elahi, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran in India, Dr. Gholam Ali H. Adil, Director of Sadi foundation, Dr. Ghaherman Suleimani, Director of Persian Research Center and Mr. Faridoon Farid Asr, Prof. Aleem Ashraf Khan, Head of Persian Department, University of Delhi, Prof. Azarmidokht Safavi, Director of Persian Research Institute Aligarh, Prof. Syed Kalim Asgar, Head of Persian Department, Jamia Millia Islamia. During the conference, Following books were released:
1."Al Yaqut wal Marjan" By Prof. S. H. Abbas, former Head of Persian Department, BHU.

2. "Ghozida Qasaid-i-Farsi" By Dr. Md. Aquil, Head of Persian Department, BHU.

3. "Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi: Ahwal wa Asar" by Dr. Moghees Ahmed

4."Nabard Nama" By Ansari Abdul Rahman, Research Scholar of the Persian Department, BHU.

Iran Culture House also acknowledged and felicitated the literary contribution of Prof. Syed Hasan Abbas honored him with an award.
