Specialized Persian Language Enhancement Course for Indian Students
New Delhi – A specialized Persian language enhancement Course for Master's and Ph.D. students from Indian universities will commence tomorrow, Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The program is jointly organized by the Persian Research Centre, New Delhi, and the Cultural Counsellor's Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran, New Delhi
Instruction will be delivered by esteemed faculty, including Persian language experts from Iran's Saadi Foundation, Eminent Indian professors, the Cultural Counsellor of Iran, and the Director of the Persian Research Centre.
The course modules will focus on three core areas:
1. Spoken Persian (Conversational Skills)
2. Contemporary Persian Literature
3. Iranian Studies (Iranology)
India remains a significant global hub for Persian language education, with Persian currently taught in over 140 universities and higher education institutions throughout the country.
