Several famous mosques and husayniyyas and an old castle that are the manifestations of the ancient history of the village are considered the most important historical attractions of this village. Even though these attractions have partially lost their historical aspect in the last few decades - due to lack of attention and encroachments - however, the views and natural attractions of the village can be attractive and enchanting for any tourist.

Natural Attractions

What distinguishes Hajiabad-e Zarrin Village from other villages in the region is the diversity of its natural landscapes. There are many caves around the village, some of which are nesting places for birds. Dahane Lashkar, Rudashti, Mishkuhi, and Tariko are the most important caves around Hajiabad-e Zarrin Village. This village is located on the edge of the desert, and the intertwining bushes of Haloxylon and Zygophyllum, which have a terrifying appearance at night, and the wind blowing through their strong branches makes a sound like the howling of a wolf, form part of the fauna around the village. Sand dunes and flowing sands that move with every wind and change the shape of the land are sights that can only be seen in areas like Hajiabad. Therefore, Hajiabad-e Zarrin Village can be very attractive to those who are interested in desert trekking.

In terms of geological structure, changes in faults and channels and transformations related to geological periods can be easily recognized in Hajiabad-e Zarrin Village, which makes it a geo-tourism attraction. Also, the location of this village in the area that connects the desert and the foothills makes it a habitat for some animals such as mountain goats, rams, sheep, wild goats, cheetahs, wild cats, caracal, serpents, vipers, elegant blind snakes, and falcons, partridges, and eagles.

Until a few years ago, the (Iranian) zebra also lived in this area, but there have been no traces of this species for several years. The mountains around the village have caused the formation of a sub-zone directing the surface water towards the village, which has led to the further prosperity of its agriculture. There are also groves in Hajiabad-e Zarrin Village, whose origin dates back to hundreds of years ago.

The existence of such groves reflects the rich irrigation system of the people of this region. The people of the village traditionally use palm fibers to produce such products as hats, brooms, and baskets. These groves can be considered as the border between the village and the desert. Doshakh, Ghul, Gorbeh, Dahaneh Lashkar, and Alikuchulu are the names given by the local people to the prominent peaks and heights around the village. Studies show that there are mines of barite, bentonite, copper, and fluorine in these mountains. Also, medicinal plants grow abundantly on the slopes of these mountains.

This village is located in the Zarrin Rural Area and Kharanaq District of Ardakan City. The distance of the village from Ardakan City is 140 km. The geographical conditions of this village are such that one can see various natural attractions such as mountains, caves, salt fields, sand dunes, bushes, and swamps.
