Palace of the Cyrus the Great
The palace of Cyrus the Great also known as the Dashtestan Palace of Cyrus is a very important historical monument and is located next to the dry Ardi River, which was once one of the most important bases of Achaemenid Iran on the Persian Gulf coast.
Research shows that as evidenced by the base of the columns and objects that have been discovered from it, this unfinished palace is newer and more elegant than the Pasargadae in terms of its sculpture and architectural art.
According to archaeologists, this building of which only the base of its beautiful columns - made with black and yellow stones - are left, was located next to the historical city of “Ta O Ke” and the purpose of building this huge building in this area was to monitor the movements in the Persian Gulf.
