The celebration of Eid Ghadir and Mubahela Day was held at the Park Road Mosque Shia Mosque in Nairobi with the presence of scholars, clerics and worshipers.

 In this ceremony, Sheikh Ali Samoja, head of the Nairobi Shia network, Sheikh Juma, Vice Chairman of the Nairobi Shia network, Sheikh Khamis, a Kenyan cleric and missionary, and Gurban Ali Pourmarjan, the cultural advisor of the Embassy of Iran Nairobi, gave a speech during the event.

  The topics of the speeches of this ceremony were Ghadir Khum, the importance of Ghadir, the philosophy of Ghadir, the place of Imamate and leadership in Islam.

 Emphasizing that Ghadir is the greatest Eid for Muslims, the speakers said: It was with the appointment of Imam Ali as the Imam and the leader of the Islamic Ummah by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) that God perfected the religion of Islam and made it a satisfactory religion for mankind, and this shows the greatness of the place of Imamate, and therefore this issue is included as one of the principles of religion.

  It is also worth mentioning that the Book the Servant of the Nation a book on the legacy of Ayatollah Shahid Raeesi, which was just published by Iran's Cultural Council in Nairobi, was unveiled and 100 copies of it were distributed to the attendees.
