Iran Participates at the 26th Nairobi International Book Fair
The 26th Nairobi International Book Fair is currently underway at the Sarit Centre, Westlands, from 24th to 28th September 2025

The Cultural Council of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Nairobi is participating at the 26th Nairobi International Book Fair which is currently underway at the Sarit Centre, Westlands, from 24th to 28th September 2025, under the theme “Inspiring Readers, Shaping Futures.” Organized by the Kenya Publishers Association (KPA), this premier event brings together authors, publishers, libraries, and book lovers from across the region.
Organized annually by the Kenya Publishers Association, the Nairobi International Book Fair has brought together publishers, authors, booksellers, print suppliers, media, and readers from Africa and worldwide since the first edition in 1996.
The Iranian pavilion showcases books covering a variety of subjects, including literature, religion, arts, tourism, and children's books. Visitors are also introduced to Iran’s publishing industry, the Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF), and Iran’s book translation initiatives, known as the “Grant” and “TOP” program.
