The Funeral Procession of the Martyred Supreme Leader Is a Civilization-Building Event
Condolence message from Dr. Mehdi Imanipur, head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), issued an official message honoring the legacy and funeral of the late Supreme Leader, Imam Seyyed Ali Hussein Khamenei.
The President of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization described the funeral procession of the martyred Imam as a civilization-building event.
According to the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the "Tell Us About Iran" meeting was hosted by Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour, President of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, on the evening of Tuesday, July 7. The gathering was attended by 100 influential social figures (influencers) and media activists from 27 countries around the world.
At the beginning of his remarks, Imanipour stated that the Iranian nation would never forget the expressions of sympathy shown during difficult times. He said:
"The fact that free-minded individuals like you stand up and speak the truth is a service to the world, and your work is truly valuable."
Referring to the funeral procession of the martyred Leader of the Revolution, he said:
"In my view, this ceremony will play a significant role in shaping the future of the world, and its impact will be felt in the future of both the region and the international community."
The President of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization continued:
"America's conflict with us has never truly been about the nuclear issue, proxy groups, or human rights. The real conflict is over culture. Our struggle with the United States is a struggle over civilization. They are concerned that Iran could challenge the American model of liberal democracy."
Imanipour further stated that Iran is facing media terrorism, explaining:
"We are constantly subjected to media distortion and misinformation. We must not allow the genuine hatred that has developed toward the Zionist regime to be forgotten."
Describing the funeral procession of the martyred Leader as a referendum, he said:
"The Martyred Imam established a school of thought that has become a threat to hegemonic powers, which are seeking to destroy it. The massive participation of the Iranian people demonstrates that they have once again voted in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
He added:
"Today you witnessed the realities with your own eyes. The slogan of this funeral procession was, 'We Must Rise.' This means that words alone are not enough; we must stand up against our enemies. Today, our struggle is the struggle of truth against falsehood. An Iranian never accepts threats or bows in submission. Iranians do not fear threats; rather, they turn threats into opportunities."
Concluding his remarks, Imanipour said:
"The blood of our Martyred Imam will undoubtedly create new opportunities for the Iranian nation. We seek a civilization whose origin will be in the East and founded upon religious teachings. We also place great value on dialogue among religions."
