Mega Education Fair 2026 Organized by Anfaal Foundation in Mumbai with Tribute to the Martyrs of Minab School
The Mega Education Fair 2026, organized by the Anfaal Foundation, was held on 18 April 2026 (29 Farvardin 1405) at Qaiser Bagh Hall, Dongri, Mumbai, with the participation of students, parents, teachers, and cultural personalities. The event continued from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and received an overwhelming response from the public. At the beginning of the exhibition, a special memorial stall was arranged in honour of the student martyrs of Shajare Tayyeba School, Minab. At this stall, the name and photograph of each martyr were placed inside a small school bag and presented to students. Upon receiving the memorial, students pledged to remember the martyr and continue their educational journey with dedication and commitment.

The memorial initiative, titled “In Memory of 168 Innocent Children Who Lost Their Lives in the Bombing”, created a meaningful atmosphere of remembrance, education, and social awareness throughout the exhibition.
Promoting Educational Opportunities and Career Guidance
The fourth edition of the Mega Education Fair in Mumbai witnessed participation from more than 17 educational institutions, including Burhani College, Academy of Financial Planning, and Akbar Academy. The participating institutions introduced students to various educational opportunities and provided services including academic counselling, career guidance, and basic health support.
One of the special features of the exhibition was a free aptitude assessment test, which helped hundreds of students understand their abilities and explore suitable academic and career paths.
Students from the Anfaal Centre of Excellence also presented their scientific projects and robotics models, attracting appreciation from visitors and participants.
Another important segment of the programme was an interactive session titled:
“Knowledge is Power
During this session, speakers emphasized the importance of education, awareness, and continuous learning. Throughout the exhibition, more than 50 experts from science, arts, and commerce fields provided individual academic and career counselling to students.
The programme also included recognition of outstanding students who achieved excellence in educational and sports activities.
Importance of Educational Counselling
During the event, Mr. S. M. Raza, university professor and member of the Anfaal Foundation, highlighted the vital role of education in the progress of society. He emphasized the importance of proper academic counselling and stated that the absence of effective guidance often creates confusion among students and prevents them from choosing fields according to their interests and abilities.
He described the expansion of counselling services as one of the essential requirements of a strong educational system.
Mr. Amin Patel, Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the Dongri and Bhendi Bazaar constituency, also addressed the gathering. He emphasized the importance of knowledge and education in the development of communities. Referring to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he stated that the advancement of societies depends upon progress in knowledge and learning, and encouraged the younger generation to pursue education with dedication.
Cultural and Educational Cooperation
During his visit to the exhibition, Mr. Mohammad Reza Fazel, Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, visited various stalls and interacted with the representatives of the Anfaal Foundation. Discussions were held regarding the foundation’s activities and achievements during the previous year, with emphasis on strengthening future cultural and educational cooperation.
