Publish Proceedings of the Seminar: Hz . Muhammad (PBUH), Messenger of Global Peace in the Indo-Iranian Intellectual and Knowledge Heritage

The first volume of the proceedings, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), Messenger of Global Peace in the Indo-Iranian Intellectual and Knowledge Heritage, has been published with the cooperation and support of the Cultural House of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mumbai, and the Vasantrao Naik Government Institute of Arts and Social Sciences, Nagpur.

The volume brings together 35 scholarly articles in English, Hindi and Marathi by Indian and Iranian scholars and researchers. The contributions explore the life, message and intellectual legacy of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through themes including peace, mercy, justice, ethics, non-violence (Ahimsa), peaceful coexistence, human dignity, spirituality and interfaith dialogue.

The publication emerged from a planned international conference on “Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as a Messenger of Global Peace.” Although the conference could not be held due to prevailing regional circumstances and related restrictions, the scholarly contributions received from researchers were compiled and published as a lasting academic record.

The proceedings seek to foster academic and intercultural dialogue between Islamic and Indian intellectual traditions, while highlighting the longstanding cultural and intellectual connections between Iran and the Indian subcontinent. The second volume, comprising contributions in Persian and Urdu, is currently under preparation.
