The online course for beginners in Persian language and literature concluded at the Cultural House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, India, during the spring semester.

Supported by the Cultural House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai and in collaboration with the Saadi Foundation, this online course commenced on April 15 of this year and concluded with the final examination.

The course was led by an expert instructor holding a master's degree in Persian language and literature, who taught the book "Gam Awal" from the Saadi Foundation's publications over forty-seven sessions, each lasting one and a half hours. A total of 15 students participated in this course. In addition to covering the course materials from "Gam Awal," the esteemed instructor dedicated considerable effort to enhance the participants' understanding of Persian language and literature. Students learned Persian vocabulary, short sentences, and basic conversational skills, including the vowels. The instructor also provided insights into notable literary figures of Iran, such as Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi, Hafez, and Saadi, as well as information about tourist attractions, which were well-received by the participants.

The course was scheduled three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with many students attending each session. Upon successfully completing the final exam, students were awarded a certificate. Short-term courses are planned to be offered in the fall, organized by the Cultural House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, with the support of the Saadi Foundation.
