In today’s world, one of the means of communication and interaction between people and art and cultural companies and institutions is the exchange of artistic contents, movies, serials, and documentaries with an approach to promoting cultural export. Iran has many capabilities in the field of producing movies, serials, documentaries, and animation the proof of which is its successes in various international festivals of the world.

The Islamic Culture and Relations Organization of Iran and its cultural centers abroad are in a position to stimulate interaction between domestic producers in the field of media and foreign distributors in order to introduce some aspects of Iranian culture and art.

 This report, which is the first of its kind, is an introduction to the capacity of Iran’s media productions focused on the documentaries produced by organizations, institutions, and online platforms of production such as Documentary, Experimental and Animation Film Center (DEFC), Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, Ammaryar, and Hashure.

In this report, in addition to introducing each organization, institution, and platform, their most important products that have been subtitled in, at least, one foreign language are introduced in order to create more communication and interactions with regard to cultural-economic relations in the field of films and serials through the cultural centers of the embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran abroad.
