In the spirit of celebrating Nowruz, the Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe held a Three-day exhibition to mark the first day of the Iranian new year at the University of Zimbabwe, from the 20th to the 22nd of March 2022.

Muslims and Christians in Zimbabwe have become pace setters in promoting peaceful coexistence amongst various religious groups, as they from time to time sit down together to find common ground is matters affecting the Abrahamic faith.

The Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe and the Deputy Head of Zimbabwe’s tourism promotion agency, the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) have called for concerted efforts to be made by both Zimbabwe and Iran in marketing themselves as favourable tourist destinations.
