Holding a celebratory ceremony with the title The Birth of Lady Fatimah(s) The Beginning of a Blessed Union

On the auspicious occasion of the blessed birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (S), a celebratory event titled "The Birth of Lady Fatimah (S), The Beginning of a Blessed Union" was held in collaboration with the Philippine-Iranian Women's Friendship Association. The event, attended by religious figures and Filipino Muslims, took place on Sunday, Dey 2(December 22), from 4 PM to 7 PM, in the conference hall of the Cultural Center.

The program began with the host, Ms. Zainab Javier, Secretary of the Philippine-Iranian Women's Friendship Association, who extended congratulations on the anniversary of the birth of the Lady of Light, Lady Fatimah Zahra (S), and announced the various segments of the program.

Then, Mr. Abolghasemi, the Cultural Counselor, welcomed the religious figures and Muslims present at the ceremony. He congratulated the attendees on the blessed birth of the Lady of the Two Worlds, Hazrat Fatimah (S) and on Women's Day, and spoke about the prominent position of Lady Fatimah as well as the esteemed status of women in Islam. He continued, saying, "Today, we have gathered to celebrate two occasions on this auspicious and blessed day: one, the commemoration of the birth of Lady Fatimah Zahra (S), and the other, the union of two companions and lovers of Lady Fatimah (S)."

He said, "Lady Fatimah (S) is the pride of Islam and the beloved of Allah the Almighty. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says: 'Fatimah is a part of me. Whoever makes her happy, makes me happy, and whoever makes her upset, has upset me. Fatimah is the dearest person to me.'"

The status of Lady Fatimah Zahra (S) is so immense that it is either impossible or extremely difficult for ordinary people like you and me to comprehend. She was neither a prophet nor an imam, but in terms of her rank, she was on the level of the prophets or the infallible imams. The infallible imams (peace be upon them) would mention the pure name of Lady Fatimah Zahra (S) with great reverence.

Hazrat Fatimah (s) is known as "the leader of all the women of the world", because without her the prophethood of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) would not be eternal.

According to all the verses that have been revealed in the Holy Quran for women, Hazrat Fatima (s) was a perfect role model in the role of daughter, wife and mother.

It is through the person and status of Hazrat Fatima that the high status of women in Islam is raised and the Prophet (PBUH) acknowledged that heaven is under the feet of mothers.

Therefore, it is truly a great blessing that we are among those who have had the opportunity to be present here to honor Lady Fatimah (S). Through the speeches of the scholars present at the session, we have also had the chance to become more familiar with the personality and character of Lady Fatimah Zahra (S).

The second reason for the specialness of today's ceremony is that we will witness the union of two companions and lovers of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S).

Therefore, allow me to be the first to congratulate the wedding of Jonaisa M. Makarongon and Ali Zinal P. Malawani. May your journey together be filled with love for Lady Fatimah (S).

The next speaker was Sheikh Ali Zainal Abidin Malawani, a graduate of the Master's degree at Al-Mustafa International University in Qom. He shared a narration from Imam Ali (A), who said: "Fatimah has five unique qualities: she is the most knowledgeable human being about God, her entire being is filled with divine light, she is the most righteous and honored in the sight of God, her existence is filled with piety, and she is infallible and God-fearing." Based on this, she was the best role model of love for God. Sheikh Malawani then emphasized the importance of establishing a connection with God through the Holy Qur'an and warned about the harmful effects of lies, betrayal, and disobedience.

Then, Hojjat al-Islam and Muslim Sheikh al-Sibal Ibno, another graduate of Al-Mustafa International University, spoke in detail about the connection of Lady Fatimah (S) with God, humanity, and her enemies. He also emphasized the necessity for people to reflect on the question of whether, as followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), we are capable of acting upon our own words?

He stated regarding the connection of Lady Fatimah Zahra (S) with God: "Lady Fatimah Zahra (S) in Shia Islam is considered one of the greatest spiritual figures, whose life and conduct serve as an example of purity, self-sacrifice, and divine closeness. She is often recognized as a model of divine obedience and piety. Her relationship with God is marked by complete submission to His will, unwavering faith, and her role as an intercessor for the believers."

He said: "The sincerity of Lady Fatimah Zahra (S) in worshiping God is also reflected in her actions, including her daily prayers and charitable deeds. According to narrations, she often engaged in worship, including long nights of prayer, interceding for the believers, and displaying unparalleled patience in the face of difficulties. One of her well-known practices was her nightly supplication, in which she would seek God's mercy and forgiveness not only for herself but also for her followers and the oppressed." He continued, stating that Lady Fatimah Zahra (S) holds a central role in Shiite conceptions of mercy, forgiveness, and leadership. Her relationship with humanity is based on selfless service, guidance, and love for all believers.

Lady Fatimah Zahra (S), as the mother of two Imams, Imam Hasan and Imam Husayn (peace be upon them), who are known as the masters of the youth of Paradise, is deeply respected. Her role as a nurturer symbolizes her immense influence as a spiritual and moral guide for her followers. Her marriage to Imam Ali (A) further connects her to the divine leadership of the Ahl al-Bayt, who are regarded as the guiding light for humanity.

He also said that the relationship of Lady Fatimah Zahra (S) with the enemies of her family and her faith is more complex, as it is intertwined with the political struggles after the passing of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Her role in defending her father’s legacy and supporting the rightful leadership of Imam Ali (A) is crucial in understanding her stance against the forces opposing the Prophet’s family (PBUH). As a result, Fatimah Zahra’s connection with God, humanity, and the enemies of Islam provides profound lessons in Shiite thought. She is revered as a symbol of purity and piety, a compassionate leader, and a steadfast defender of justice. Her bond with God is marked by sincerity and self-sacrifice, while her relationship with humanity highlights her nurturing role and caring nature. Ultimately, her position against the enemies of Islam, especially regarding the events after the Prophet’s passing, demonstrates her selflessness in preserving the truth and the rightful leadership of her family.

In the second part of the program, with the aim of strengthening the relationships among different Muslim groups in line with promoting Islamic unity and following the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH), the wedding ceremony of two companions and lovers of Lady Fatimah (S) was held. Hojjat al-Islam Ali Zain al-Abidin Melawani and Janysa Macarongong happily made a marriage contract, in honor of Lady Fatimah (S), cherished this moment. The marriage contract and khutbah were read by Hojjat al-Islam Ibno.

At the end of the ceremony, Seyyed Alireza Abinal, a graduate of Jamia Al-Mustafa International University, expressed important points about the importance of marriage in Islam.

The screening of video clips from the content package of the International Women's and Family Relations Department, in celebration of the birth of Fatimah Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her) and Women's Day, was another highlight of the event.
