Zimbabwe Joins Iran in Celebrating the 46 Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution
Today, we gathered at the Rainbow Towers in Harare to commemorate the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran hosted this momentous occasion, which was graced by the presence of Mrs. Sheillah Chikomo, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Zimbabwe, as the guest of honor.
In his speech, Chargé d'affaires Mr. Taheri highlighted Iran's remarkable progress in various fields, including politics, socio-economics, science, medicine, and education. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by the Iranian people and celebrated the country's transformation into a giant in these areas.
The event also underscored the strong relations between Iran and Zimbabwe. Mrs. Chikomo emphasized the potential for improved cooperation and sustainable development between the two nations. She noted that various collaborative agreements are underway, paving the way for a brighter future for Zimbabwe.
As we celebrate this National Day, let us honor Iran's commitment to independence, justice, and diplomacy on the global stage. The Islamic Republic of Iran remains committed to enhancing bilateral trade ties and promoting peace, stability, and human rights worldwide.
Over the years of successful relations, Iran's dedication to Zimbabwe's growth is evident in the various agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries.
